Yesterday we were listening to Kid’s Place on satellite radio. There is a cute song that tells the story of a fellow who wants to do more than hold his girl’s hand – he wants to hold her ear (until she hears that he loves her), her nose, her hair, etc. From the back seat, I hear my daughter’s sardonic suggestion, “That’s creepy. How about flowers instead?”
This reminds me of a favorite photo of her hands, nails painted turquoise, holding a speckled toad.
Adorable…my kids are constantly bringing me buttercups and dandelions and insisting I take them home to put in a vase. So cute, although we are running out of tiny vases. =)
Why thank you.

I love that little story, De. Too funny. (And I agree with your daughter! The song sounds creepy.)
Great photo!
Thanks, Kyla!

That’s very cute, Heather! Clearly you need a bigger supply of little tiny vases!
Awww… and nice juxtaposition with the goth fingernails.
