This week’s friday foto finder theme is “alone.” This lone chicken was somehow left out when her fellow chickens were penned up. And while she does look rather left out, it looks like the other chickens want out, themselves.
(I took this photo back in March at the nearby farm where usually we get our eggs. This was one of the rare wintery moments of last winter.)

I feel sorry for that poor chicken. There she is leading the way to a new tomorrow for the other chickens, but they aren’t following her! What’s a girl to do? Great photo!

Aww, poor chicken. I know how much our chicken girls love to be together…I bet both the group and the loner are near the fence not because they wish to trade places, but because they just wish to be together!
