I’d already forgotten the summer that wasn’t, but you’re right. Not having a summer has somehow made the cold even colder.

I guess for me, at least, summer was that trip to Spain. It was only 2 weeks, though, which is not nearly long enough. Plus it was pretty rainy in Barcelona.
It’s fun to watch the kids running around enjoying life. This year did go fast.

And as I recall, Massachusetts skipped June this year. Luckily for me, for the past 5 months, I’ve been in Berkeley–where it’s June most of the time.

I’m jealous of your extended June. I’m not actually a big fan of summer, at least the muggy sweaty months of July and August. But the moderate warmth of June is quite nice after a long spring. Maybe next year…

Actually, I think it’s pretty standard now, in the digital age. Would you believe that I know people who may photograph their kids even more than we do?

I have said this before, but you take great pictures, esp. of your beautiful babies. Most of the pictures I took of my kids are of the “they ran away so I could only get a shot from their back” variety. LOL.
